OSLC logo Welcome to the OSLC Tools project

Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (also known as OSLC or Open Services) is a community and set of specifications for Linked Lifecycle Data. The community’s goal is to help product and software delivery teams by making it easier to use lifecycle tools in combination. The OSLC community is creating open, public descriptions of resources and interfaces for sharing the things that teams rely on, like change requests, test cases, defects, requirements and user stories.

This web site is the home of oslc-tools the Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC) Tools project. The project was created by the OSLC Community (original proposal) to help those who are learning and implementing OSLC specifications as well as those who are developing the OSLC specifications themselves. The project will create reference implementations, test suites, example code and other content that supports the OSLC community.

Project Code is Open Source and licensed under the Apache Software License v2.0. Project governance is Apache-like as well (project guidelines) and anybody is welcome to participate. Interested? Please sign up for the mailing list and introduce yourself.

UPDATE JUNE 2, 2011: A proposal to establish the Eclipse Lyo project based on the OSLC Tools code has been posted to the Eclipse.org website here: Eclipse Lyo Proposal. Your questions and feedback are welcome here: Eclipse Proposals forum
